This is the Major Project of the Mass Elks and copies of the new 2009 applications have been left at the lodge. Any Massachusetts high school senior is eligible. Applicants must use the official Scholarship forms as photocopies will not be accepted under any condition. These applications are due to the Middleboro Elks Lodge not later than February 1st, 2009 and are renewable – meaning that if you applied last year, you may also apply this year.

The Mass Elks Vocational Grant Program

This grant is awarded to Massachusetts students who plan to pursue an eligible voc/tech course above and supplemental to high school. Again, they must use original applications and they must be turned in to the Middleboro lodge by mid-February as they need to be postmarked by March 1st, 2009.

Middleboro Elks Scholarship

This scholarship, like the Legacy, is available ONLY to those children, step-children and/or grandchildren of members of our lodge that are in good standing (their current dues have been paid up for the year). For the most part, this scholarship is for high school seniors, but consideration will be given to those students who are enrolled in an accredited college/university that have never received a scholarship from our lodge before. These applications are due to the lodge NOT LATER THAN April 15th and to make it easier, I have left copies at the lodge but you can also just click on "Current Lodge Application" at the bottom of this page.  Completed applications should be left at the lodge in the box that is also labeled Bulletin Information. Remember, these scholarships are funded by raffles and fundraisers, so please consider these very worthwhile causes. Again, any questions can be emailed to me directly at clarrivey@comcast.net or left for me at the lodge
